This is the day the Lord has made! Let us rejoice and be glad in it! What a glorious day!
We left with the early morning sunrise today. An all night concert in the field next to our hostel made for a short evening. Within a few steps we crossed a milestone on the Camino.
Today over our high mileage trek we reached the lush evergreen forests of the Camino. What glorious mountains they are! This day reminded me of our wonderful years in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I spent a lot of time hiking those mountains and the trails and the views and scents brought all those memorable hikes back into my mind. There is nothing better than the whisper of the wind and the fresh evergreen scent surrounding you as you walk. As we journeyed onward Psalm 121 led the way.

where does my help come from?

the Maker of heaven and earth.
